We work to create a conducive and enabling legal and policy environment for recognition of
resource rights and for establishing community centric forest governance for management
and conservation of forest resources
Our intervention focuses at addressing land tenure and rights issues with the broad goal of
working towards a locally accountable, transparent and more democratic land governance
We facilitate for developing collective economic action by forest dependent communities as
means of expanding local control over markets and livelihood opportunities.
We strongly believe that secured rights of local communities over resources that critically
sustain their lives are fundamental to their overall development.
Our interventions follow right based approach to believe in inherent capacities of
marginalised communities which when nurtured and fostered has the potential to usher in
their overall empowerment.
Our intervention and facilitation focus in engaging in participatory processes and considers
empowerment of community institutions as key to sustainable development.
